Personal Support Worker (PSW)
Job description: Working with the elderly and giving one-on-one
care such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housework. Assuring that individual goals
and needs are met as specified in the client's support plans. Assisting clients with
recreational activities.
The Personal Support Worker is responsible for providing direct and
indirect tasks that support the overall delivery of nursing care on the nursing units, as well as
promoting caregiver inclusion in the patient's care plan. This may include one-on-one care for
patients as needed. To provide a needs led service to adults with a learning disability by adopting
a person centred approach that fosters self awareness, personal growth and gives each person the
strongest voice with regards to decision making and lifestyle choices
Developmental Support worker (DSW)
Job description: To provide care, you require; Diploma in
Community Social Services, encompassing post-secondary education in counseling skills training, such
as Mental Health Worker, Community Health Worker, Resident Care Attendant/Long Term Care Aide, or
Social Services Worker. Understanding of laws including the Mental Health Act and the Guardianship
Act. Knowledge of available programs, their interrelationships, and their role in community-based
care. Current Basic Life Saving Certificate, Level C. A valid G or G2 driver's license. A
minimum of two years recent related experience working with people with mental illness/special
needs, including teaching life skills, or an equivalent mix of education, training, and experience
is required.
Private Duty Nurse
Job description: As a Registered Nurse (RN), you are a
professional caregiver who is responsible and accountable for providing quality patient care within
a delivery model in accordance with the ECAE Healthcare's philosophy, policies, and standards
of care,the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO), as well as all applicable legislation. Your
education, experience, demonstrated skill level, and ECAE policies and procedures will lead you.

Nursing Assistant
Job description: Working as part of a multidisciplinary team,
under supervision of Patient care management or Nurse in charge, the incumbent: Performs a variety
of clerical duties and serves as the unit's communication connection. Performs a variety of
responsibilities related to patient care and comfort, as well as normal household tasks to keep the
environment clean (approximately 10-90 percent dependent on unit, occupancy and shift).
